Carthage, MO, Jasper county - This is a day ride for most types of bikes and is scheduled for the second Saturday of October. It is on completely paved roads and has sag stops every 15 miles or so. There are multiple lengths including 15 miles, 30 miles, 50 miles and 70 miles. There is an eatout after the ride. St. Louis - HI-Gateway Council—host of the Moonlight Ramble®, the largest night time bicycle ride in the world—is presenting a series timed bike rides of 100 miles for the 2005 season.
