The Trailhead is at the top of Mills Ave. in Claremont, California. Mills is just east of Indian Hill Blvd. Use Indian Hill off-ramp from the I10 Freeway. The area at the top of Mills has changed to become officially the "Claremont Hills Wilderness Park". Riders no longer need to get permission from the colleges to ride there. The park is open daily from dawn 'till dusk, and there is a porta-potty and a trail map at the bottom. Thomas Guide page 571 E4
