Cheney Ranch Fire Road - Topanga Canyon - Los Angeles County
From the beach take Topanga Canyon Blvd. about 7 miles up and turn right on Cheney Drive. Take this veering right once and turn left on Callon Drive, then turn right on Penny Drive. Take this a short distance until you see the gate and the dirt.

This road takes you directly to Eagle Rock and is the shortest way to get to 'The Hub'. The climb is a rocky, rutted, technical ascent. From Eagle rock you can go left to The Hub, Backbone, Mulholland, etc. Go right and find Trippett Ranch, and Paseo Miramar.
