Stinky I bought in June and sold because it was a

Reason why I bought Mongoose and Schwinn back ---Tomac rode a Mongoose in 94, Brian Lopes rode them in 97/99 and Leigh Donovan rode a Pro SX Iboc hardtail w/ a Boxxer --- 1998's Women Norba Downhill Champ
Those were the glory days for Mongoose and Schwinn---when they actually rode them, now junk, but fond memories.
Fotos of Donovan w/ bikes I bought:
Goose NX 7.5 w/ logo removed, Rocket 88

as much as I like OCPP (and he hardly needs me to defend him from that brilliant mind Fatpu**y has) - why is it that there are a few guys on this board that talk like getting married & breeding confer instant respectability on a person?

ANYBODY can get married, any moron can breed - Scott Peterson bred, Jacko, he** - even The Juice managed to marry and have offspring - so while I support your efforts to continue to malign FatBadbikeGuy - having kids and/or being married proves nothing about an individual...

even El Jefe was married at one time & has a child....think about it....

            Little sensitive, hey guy?

The marriage response came in response to FatPussy's lame attempt at slamming OPP for being married. What part don't you understand?

ANYONE can avoid marriage too. There are millions of ugly people that prove that point. Also, not everyone can breed. Bacteria, biology, and other factors see to that.

What's respectable is sacrificing for someone else, consistently, whether it be money, time, labor, etc., because of commitment. Yeah, that's respectable.

But that's not the point. Look at FatPussy's post. It's sufficient explanation enough.

Sensitive? try fed up with it....what I don't understand is with the remarkable # of bad marriages, divorces, etc. etc. - certain people keep acting like you can be a total a** to people on a daily basis, but because one has managed to obtain a marriage license and breed like any animal, one has some sort of superiority to all those who haven't gotten around to these "all-important" tasks

one can sacrifice in many ways, to family, friends, country or causes - being married and having kids confers nothing in and of itself

Fatpu**y is a pretty much a fool, so I will agree with you on that...

Your connection between marriage and being a total a** makes no sense. Superiority? Hi Pot. You calling me black?

Being "single" confers nothing or superior in and of itself, so why so hostile to married people? Must be the stigma of being single at 36 and having to keep denying those "gay" rumors. Whatever it is, no one here can figure why you've got such a superiority complex....

Well, I'm just an average Joe Truth. In 1991,
I thought Specialized was the best mtn bike co in the
world. Perhaps they were---Intense and the others sure
werent around. Plus in 1995 I bought a house
so the mortgage thing took precedence than buying
          expensive bikes

                  FOR OJ SIMPSON

History of Los Angeles "White Flight" Racism (Never officially published due to limo liberals and conservative denial)

1946 (post war)-- Wasps and Jewish folk start moving out of East Los Angeles, Echo Park, Lincoln Park and the surrounding areas (nice Victorian homes) and head west to Santa Monica and the West Side and the Valley, due to a growing hispanic influx

1949-0n-- Wasps leave South Central a bit later leaving their craftsman type homes to the growing # of African Americans migrating from the South.

1960-0n---Brothers start movin' in. Wasp and Jewish Inglewood gets the itch to transport themselves outta the 'wood as Inglewood sees 'white flight' in a matter of about 5 years.

1970-0n---Reseda, San Fernando, Granada Hills feels the hispanic influx and the flight is on to the OC.

1975-0n---White Flight families who thought the OCwas the mecca, found out that they didn't move further south enough as they didn't like VietNamese as their new neighbors, so flight took off in Anaheim, Garden Grove and Buena Park.

1985-0n---White flight families who migrated to the Inland Empire found out many hispanics and african americans who also wanted to move away from the 'bad L.A. gang scene' became their neighbors. For sale signs popped up and the flight continued east.

1990---present. Simi Valley, Northern SD, Southern OC, parts of Pasadena, Tarzana, pockets of the Valley, parts of South Bay, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica & other beach cities except Venice, Valencia and parts of the North Valley are currently where the flight refugees reside until the influx starts again.

However with real estate prices as they are now, (in these areas) it will be quite a while before the flight happens again.

BTW--OJ, I'm not racist nor have class envy--I just spill the truth. However, lapping it up is the hard part.
