There are a large number of trails on what used to be the US Army Base (Ft Ord). The trails can be reached from multiple locations as follows:
1. from Hwy 1 take reservation road east, there are several stops along reservation where you can start.
2. from within the old Ft. Ord (POM Annex now) you can park and start at the end of Gigling road. (Enter the main Gate, right at the light, left at Burger King, follow to the end).
3. you can also reach the trails from the Laguna Seca recreational area.
