  1. Three Sisters/Evergreen Mtn. - Alderfer/Three Sisters Park boasts 770 acres of open space. Ever since Evergreen was settled, the four rock formations called the Three Sisters and The Brother have been landmarks providing spectacular views of the Bear Creek Basin. Over 10 miles of trail lead you around the Three Sisters and up to The Brother and connect to Evergreen Recreation District property.

Trails in the northern region of the park are relatively smooth and fun to ride with the most difficult section being the segment of the Sisters Trail that winds it's way down from the Three Sisters formations. Although trails are fairly short in mileage, it's fun to criss-cross the northern section of the park a few times before heading to the southern portion of the park... Evergreen Mountain.

The ascent up Evergreen Mountain trail is easy enough for a seasoned rider and yet retains a few technical sections to challenge new riders. Regardless of your expertise in riding, your efforts are well rewarded with several spectacular viewpoints. Don't forget your camera if your visiting.

Your decent down Evergreen Mtn Trail (east) is fast and fun with a few switchbacks to keep you thinking. Mind your speed as other trail users including hikers and equestrians frequent the trail... especially on weekends.
